Hello there, CAS Addicts! It's time for a new challenge! Our Hostess is Carolyn, and she has chosen 'Tweet' for our code word!
Before we begin, let's review the rules for the challenge:
Don't forget, as always, Happy Little Stampers (HLS) is our Sponsor, and Kylie is generously awarding the winner with a $20.00 GC to the store!
Happy Little Stampers was created in 2015 by Kylie (owner of ATSM and ATCAS). Kylie wanted to bring out a line of stamps that were useful for every day crafters. From cute to whimsical images, from everyday to funky sentiments there is something for everyone!
Once again, we have a super talented Guest Designer for this challenge...Susan Bridgman
Hello from Vancouver, Canada! I grew up in a very crafty family where my Mum taught us to cook, sew, knit, and garden, and kept us well supplied with colouring books, coloured pencils, and paints – we were always working with our hands! I still cook, sew, knit, and garden, and added crocheting along the way. And then in 2007 I started making cards by cutting up and recycling the cards I received from people. After seeing a stamp booth at a craft fair where they demonstrated heat embossing in 2009, I was instantly hooked and started stamping and heat embossing my cards. It snowballed from there. I joined Splitcoaststampers, posting my cards there until I started my blog (Cardmaker’s Garret) in 2015. My style is basically CAS though I do like to experiment with a bit of mixed media.
I retired from a great career as a librarian at the public library in 2009. You’d have thought I’d have enough hobbies to keep me busy but I needed more physical activity so I have since added teaching dog obedience classes (I have an adorable English Cocker Spaniel), taking riding lessons, and volunteering with therapeutic horse riding for kids with disabilities. This last gives me great incentive to make large numbers of Christmas cards as I hold a sale every November of my cards (mostly Christmas ones) and my shortbread cookies as a way of raising some money for the therapeutic riding stable.
It’s an honour to be asked to be a Guest Designer at ATCAS!
