sCongratulations, Shona! Here is what Sarah had to say about your card:

A stunning example of clean, simple and crisp design! Despite the
simplistic look to the card, the intricate faceted die certainly isn't
a simple one to select for the inlaid die technique. Utilised to
perfection here though with total elegance and sophistication.

Please contact Kylie at Happy Little Stampers within 5 days to claim your gift certificate for $15.00 (kyliepurtell@gmail.com)

Our incredible Guest Designer for this challenge is Caroline Paton at

Hello there, my name is Caroline and I am excited to be with you as Guest Designer this week.
Thank you so much to all the DT girls for having me.
I'm a mum to 2 grown up girls, Maria and Annabel, and have been married
to my soulmate for 30 years.
We live in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire - rated as the
happiest place to live in Britain.
I've been making cards and blogging them, for 8 years now. Crikey!!
And I think I am finally starting to find my style ;-)
I love playing along with challenges and I am a bit of a magpie.
I am easily distracted by shiny things, and fairy lights, gitter, and sequins
make me happy :-)
I hope you have fun with this week's 'rain' challenge and good luck xxx

Here is our inspiration for you -

How clever she is to use those pretty clear sequins as raindrops for her beautiful roses!

We are so happy to introduce our Guest Designer for this challenge

Firstly, I want to sincerely thank Addicted to CAS and the designers for this opportunity! What a joy to be guest designing here with such talented company.

So with that said, let me introduce myself. My name is Shawna Standish from TheGrandStampede. I am a forty year old mother of two, nicely nestled in Michigan, USA. I have been creating cards for about three years. It all started when I was faced with the possibility of becoming blind. It was not until then I started looking at color and objects with new vigor, soaking up everything, knowing I might not see in the future. Fortunately I am fine, and I live to see another day.

My crafting however, lead into an unstoppable obsession. I wanted to share my art with others who had similar interests. I ended up finding wonderful people from all around the world. I could not be more blessed to know my blog friends and to see their art which inspires so much of what I do. Again thanks to everyone at Addicted to CAS for this amazing opportunity to share my work with others.

All the best,

Shawna

On with our inspiration
