Addicted to CAS Challenge #139 - Girl Power

Hello there, CAS Addicts! It's time for a new challenge! Our Hostess is Susan, and she has chosen 'Girl Power' for our code word!

Happy Little Stampers was created in 2015 by Kylie (owner of ATSM and ATCAS). Kylie wanted to bring out a line of stamps that were useful for everyday crafters. From cute to whimsical images, from everyday to funky sentiments there is something for everyone!

Hello from Montreal, Canada. I am married to my wonderful DH for 25 years and a mother of two young adults. I am retired and enjoy making cards for my family and friends and making scrapbook albums for my travels. Currently, I design for a2z Scrapbooking Supplies. I want to say my style is Clean and Layered, but I am always willing to try a new style or a new technique. When I am not at my craft desk, I enjoy cooking and when the weather is nice, I tend my garden. You could find me at my blog Escape to Stamping.

I’m chuffed to bits to be Guest Designer for Addicted to CAS this week. I’ve been playing around with paper and ink for the last 12 years, firstly as a scrapbooker, hence the name of my blog. However, as the kids got older (and naughtier),
I became frustrated with how long it would take to create a page so switched to card making. My style alternates between clean and layered and clean and simple, depending on the challenge I’m working on at the time. I love to try and think outside the box, particularly for CAS challenges when there’s only a word for inspiration. It’s my way of keeping sane and exercising the creative part of my brain!

I'm so thrilled to be joining the Addicted to CAS ladies today! I've been crafting in some way for most of my life, but turned to card making about 5 years ago. I've dabbled in a bunch of different styles through the years, but I always seem to go back to clean and simple in the end. I discovered Copic markers about 3 years ago and my love for coloring began! I currently reside in Utah with my husband and our troupe of rescue animals (2 dogs and 3 cats). When I'm not in my craft room playing with ink and paper, you can find me curled up with a good book or playing a video game with my husband.
